Ah, ahh… The heat was really at it today. The sun obviously decided to try to burn down everything in its way. The fact that the young blond was in the middle of a desert didn’t help at all… Not many people ventured to come to this wasteland, and even less set themselves a…

He beamed and sat next to her, not even asking if he could. He raised his hand so that the guy that was working there could see it. “Two, please.” he said, gesturing to the girl next to him.
Len stared at her for a couple of seconds, not sure how to talk to an actual girl. He was used to talking to the locals, which she obviously wasn’t. The people that worked in the saloon, which she didn’t. His guy-friends, which he couldn’t possibly be. And things, which she wasn’t. But to Len she looked like a real living breathing doll. “You know, I’m an adventurer.”, he said as the waiter brought their drinks. “By your clothes, I’d say you’re one too.”

“An adventurer~?” Mayu’s face lit up as she bounced in her seat. “Actually, I’m not really an adventurer… But  I wish I was~” . She loved the idea of adventures, and action, and all that great stuff. That’s why she traveled to different places so often; she wanted to find adventure. ‘Perhaps,’ she thought, ‘it found me~’

The fact that the young blond was in the middle of a desert didn’t help at all… Not many people ventured to come to this wasteland, and even less set themselves a clearly impossible goal to reach like he did. The crown of Tutadess… Such a magnificent artifact. …Well he hoped it was. No one ever saw it, and it was more of an urban legend than an actual thing. But he knew it was real. It had to be! He spent months on research, interviews with the locals, finding the right equipment… He was ready to find it. Not just it. He had to be the first to find the temple of Tutadess as well. This crown was going to be discovered soon and the one to discover it was going to be him - Kagamine Len. He looked at one of the tables in the saloon. A girl with long rainbowish hair caught his eye. Len ran his fingers through his bangs, and started walking over to the girl. With his hair now messier than usual, the boy grinned widely. “Would you fancy a drink? My treat.”

“Oh~?” Mayu looked up at the stranger, head tilted curiously. He didn’t look too familiar, but that didn’t matter. She loved to meet new people. The girl smiled brightly. “Why, thank you so much~!” she said gratefully. “That’s very kind of you~”
